Mountains provide the livelihood to human society and habitat to many rare species. However, mountains are sensitive to change and irreplaceable biodiversity is under pressure. Many aspects of mountain ecosystems have not been studied in depth, as research in mountains is logistically difficult and demanding. P³ is contributing innovative and multidisciplinary research to global mountain research. This introductionary video gives a first insight in what P³ is about and more videos will follow over time, focusing on different aspects of our research. So, stay tuned!
